Do you like to write and teach people some skill that contributes to the well-being of all? Have you already prepared a thesis for the university about climate change or that solves some social problem?
We accompany you with a free support program to create your own book or guide, based on our core values. At DDH we investigate information on sustainability, emancipation, renewable energies (and more) to bring them free of charge to a new and better form of explanation for everyone.
Our main intention with these books and manuals is to develop an independent culture. Improving people's quality of life and caring for nature.
So that you have a better understanding of what the style of our guides is like, you can take a look at the production of the content of our .
These are some of the topics we are working on:
Open source recycling machines, products and online tools to enable anyone to start recycling plastic locally.
Problem
Plastic waste is damaging ecosystems across the planet. To date, less than 10% of all plastic is still recycled and production is projected to triple by 2040. We want to give people the tools, platforms and knowledge to recycle plastic waste locally, all over the world.
How does it work
We want to increase the amount of plastic that is recycled around the world. To do this, we empower tens of thousands of people around the world with everything they need to start recycling plastic locally.
We develop plastic recycling machines and share how to replicate them open source online, for free. So that everyone can rebuild them and start recycling in their neighborhood transforming plastic waste into valuable products.
We also provide business tools to help run a business from plastic recycling. People can buy and sell these recycled products, machines and parts at Dora's Bazar (our marketplace).
For now, there is a large global community that sees plastic as a precious material.
How to get your own machines: we design the machines in Belgium. People build them (independently) all over the world.
Techniques for Making Recycled Plastic Products: We share techniques and guides on how to turn plastic waste into beautiful and valuable products. People in our community learn, replicate, iterate, and share improvements in a constant feedback loop that advances this emerging art.
The Plastic Recycling Market: A Future Shop is the market for plastic recycling where people can buy and sell recycled machines, parts and products. The Shop helps people generate income, boosting local economies around plastic recycling.
