About the role
DDH is looking for a Part-time Community Manager to develop and implement content, communication/PR, and growth marketing strategies and help it find a “voice” that will make a difference. Our ideal candidate is a creative growth marketing professional, preferably with a copywriting and edition background. A native level of Spanish and a professional level of English are required for this role.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, managing and engaging with the organization's online community in a way which builds brand awareness and attracts new investors, sponsors and donators.
You will work cross functionally with internal collaborators and external helpers to understand business objectives in order to communicate effectively with our target.
On a day-to-day basis, here’s some of what you’ll do
Content strategy - craft the content strategy and editorial calendar making sure we are creating a narrative that resonates with our many different audiences.
Publish articles to the website, optimizing for user experience, SEO, and conversions.
Edit and promote video content. Create impactful 1-5min videos (this includes deriving a topic from social media trends analysis, conducting research and fact-checking, writing scripts and illustrating them with relevant visuals).
Provide research-based, credible, and concrete calls to action for the audience (tips, DIY, recommended donations, petitions etc.) on humanitarian, social and environmental affairs. Some pieces may require up to 2 months investigations, some would be based on cross-checking existing action-oriented content in 48hours or less.
Write in-depth articles based on user search trends and timely topics.
Social media - create and promote content on Twitch, Tiktok, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, Linkedin... to increase engagement with our community.
Good understanding of Social Networks (optimizing video editing, storytelling, holding the attention of our communities and making the most of the algorithms of the main social video platforms - Youtube, TikTok, Instagram Reels).
Interact with the community online.
Customer segmentation & targeting - understand who our customers are and build thoughtful campaigns to nurture, acquire and educate key audiences.

About you
Startup or traveling experiences - you have at least 2+ years in a similar role(s).
Tech-savvy - you’re comfortable with tech tools (some we use: Adobe, Final cut pro / Davinci, Typeform, Shopify, Html, GitHub/Gitbook…).
Blockchain - If you know about the crypto world is a plus.
Entrepreneurial - you are curious, value execution, and have a big vision that can naturally bring people around you.
Creativity - Autonomous, motivated, versatile.
Interests - Ecology, environment, traveling, tourism.
Project management - there are a lot of moving parts and we’re looking for someone comfortable operating in autonomy.
Consultant or freelance position in remote, part-time (we will start with project-based work).
Skills
