This book fuses extensive experience with hundreds of hours of research. We have combined what works for us with the best solutions adopted by the camper community in general to give you the most solid and complete information possible. For years, we have shared our own experiences, inspiring people to take the leap and adopt a nomadic lifestyle.
This book now allows you to do just that, guiding you through the planning stages of living a sustainable life on the road. Most practical-minded people can adjust to life on the road without too much drama. Some mistakes will inevitably be made, but all of that is part of your growth and transition to becoming a better and more capable version of yourself.
This book is to help you minimize those mistakes and save you time, money, and sanity on your new trip. If you have a practical mindset, you may consider some of the accompanying real-world advice to be common sense. Practice and good judgment are certain key skills to possess, but making such a big lifestyle transition can be stressful.
This book aims to reduce that stress, ide you, and add content to questions that you may feel you have already answered.
I am passionate about technology, cameras, drones, and editing programs, both for video and photos. Creativity is present in every step. When I was living in Australia (2017), I converted my first truck and traveled over 10,000 km across the country. Today I am with my 3rd construction in Brussels, Belgium (2021), and I was recording the process to create this very guide, where it is explained step by step how to approach each topic in the construction of your own house on wheels.
Meanwhile, I am building a nomadic lifestyle, in search of creative ways that allow me to do and grow and in whatever I dream of. As I am walking in the world of vans I see that creativity is essential to define the personality of your days.
Once you have achieved the economic income in a nomadic way, what would you do?, where would you live?, where would you sleep? Places in which I imagined spending a night that made me feel insecure, made me create an internal ladder so no one climbs on the roof while I sleep.
The working and professional world today allows it, to become a nomad, with economic independence, but in this guide, we will talk about energy independence, because we must know by whom we are governed, in case the power or water is cut, we must pay the electricity bill to someone, or it is the sun that feeds us?
I am , I am 28 years old and I left my home 10 years ago. I lived, studied, worked, and learned languages in Argentina, Italy, Malta, Australia, and Belgium.
I have a Masters degree in Public and Institutional Relations from , I have been working in digital marketing for several years, and then I dedicate myself during the time that I travel to work in hospitality (hotels, restaurants, among others) because it is the area that gives you a job the fastest, and that it is easier to speak several languages with tourists.
A few pieces of wood became an extra kitchen board when you don't need to use the bed. And so you create something related to your walk and vibrate. Travel in every way, we talk about that and more in the community. I believe that achieving self-sustainability and emancipation is the main goal of our era.
